Kondapolam trailer: Vaisshnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh star in Krish’s take on a classic book

Based on a novel of the same name penned by Sannapureddy Venkata Rami Reddy, the trailer takes viewers into a rustic land. The dialogues and action sequences in particular draw attention. Sharing the trailer on his social media, the director wrote, “Embark on the Astounding Journey of #KondaPolam - "An Epic Tale of Becoming" (sic)” Vaisshnav plays a man who aims big in life while Rakul plays Obulamma in the film shot around Nallamalla region. The film will see music by MM Keeravani and cinematography by Gnana Shekar. Sai Chand, Kota Srinivas Rao, Nasser, Annapurna, Hema, Anthony, Ravi Prakash, Mahesh Vitta, Racha Ravi, Anand Vihari play key roles.

After his debut with Uppena, his character in this film is expected to be a milestone in his career. Shooting for the intense village drama has already been wrapped up and the film is slated to hit screens on October 8. Vaisshnav is yet to announce his next, so is Rakul who was last seen in Check. Krish is currently directing Pawan Kalyan, Nidhhi Agerwal starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Further details are awaited.
