KoKo: 'Pushpa' director Sukumar launches first glimpse of India's authentic sci-fi thriller that explores the consequences of technological overpower

Sukumar, renowned director of the blockbuster film 'Pushpa,' has unveiled the first glimpse of an exciting new sci-fi thriller titled KoKo. Directed by Jai Kumar, 'Koko' is being hailed as India's authentic foray into the sci-fi genre, exploring the themes of cyber warfare and the potential dominance of artificial intelligence. The film raises thought-provoking questions about the consequences of technology overpowering human intellect. With its visually captivating teaser, 'KoKo' has already generated significant buzz among movie enthusiasts eagerly anticipating its release.

The intriguing video provides a glimpse into the intense world of 'KoKo.' It features a mysterious woman clad in black, emerging from a fierce battle with blood-stained hands and a pistol. The enigmatic character dons an air mask before discarding the weapon and proceeding towards a motorcycle. As she leaves, two small robots, resembling instruments, float through the scene, navigating their way past fire, guns, blood, and even the lifeless body of a woman lying on the floor. These robots also pass over a book labeled "Project Ram Isu." Their journey culminates at a computer screen displaying a ticking timer, prompting them to turn black when it reaches zero. The teaser includes intriguing phrases such as "When east wants to conquer the rest" and "secrets of Indian scriptures come for rescue," further fueling anticipation for the film.


KoKo's production is scheduled to commence in the third week of June 2023. The film will be shot across diverse locations, including Vietnam, China, Ladakh, Kerala, and Hyderabad. Emphasizing its global appeal, 'KoKo' is set to be released in multiple languages, catering to both Indian and international audiences. The film will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Vietnamese, and Taiwanese languages. Notably, 'KoKo' will be the first Indian movie to directly release in Vietnamese and Taiwanese languages, further expanding its reach.
