Karunya's hair grabs eyeballs at Filmfare

Singer Karunya went almost unrecognized by most at the Filmfare Awards on Saturday. His Afro-styled hair atop a lean figure, however, was the talk amongst most.
In fact, that's what confused the onlookers. The former Indian Idol participant has changed his look completely and is now sporting an Afro style with a French cut.No wonder then that people were heard asking one another, 'Who's this guy?' In fact, a few reporters at the event too had to excuse themselves and offer a polite apology in not recognizing him, before they began conversing. "That's okay, I know I am looking different and people are confused," is all a sporty Karunya could say in reply. The young singer went on to receive the Best Playback Singer for "Sada Shiva Sanyasi" from "Mahesh Khaleja, along with Ramesh Vinayagam.
