For those curious about why the actors were present at the marathon, they were promoting their upcoming film Dev to Telugu crowds. Interestingly, the marathon event is in sync with the film’s theme about the journey of an adventure enthusiast, played by actor Karthi. The film directed by newcomer Rajath Ravishankar will hit theatres on Valentines Day and has music by Harris Jayaraj, also featuring Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj in key roles. Karthi and Rakul Preet, who’d last paired up for Khaki, look set for an impressive outing yet again.
