Kanika Kapur excited to debut in Tollywood

Newcomer Kanika Kapur, who���ll soon be making her T-Town debut in Jagadeesh Daneti���s Tippu, says that she was overwhelmed with the quantum of work she had to do in the film. Recalling a recent experience in Thailand, where the film was briefly shot, Kanika reveals, ���In my entire life, I have never worked as hard as I did during the one-week long shoot we had in Thailand.Every day I would wake up at 4 am and be ready to leave the hotel in a couple of hours. After shooting for nearly 12 hours, I used to get so drained out that all I wanted to do was crash on my bed; however, I had to attend the dance rehearsals for another three hours. It was physically and mentally challenging, but having done all that, I kind of feel proud of myself. Acting in this Telugu film has been a life changing experience.��� The 19-year old actress is playing one of the lead roles in this action entertainer which also stars Karthik and Samskruthy Shenoy.
Admittedly, she has a long way to go before she can call herself a good dancer and she avers that there���s a valid reason for that. ���The dance choreography in South Indian films is very different than what I am used to. On top of that, there was a dance sequence where both Karthik and I had to dance on a yatch. I had my heels on and I kept sliding and tripping every now and then,��� she laughs.
