It was a cameo appearance in Pawan Kalyan-starrer Jalsa that kick-started
Kamal Kamaraju's Tollywood career back in 2008. Eight years on, the Hyderabadi actor is all set for an encore in PK's next, Katamarayudu. But this time it's a much more seizable role. 'It seems like it was just the other day when I was a starry-eyed young actor ecstatic about the acting in a
Pawan Kalyan film.
Although it was a small role it earned me a lot of recognition. So I'm thrilled to be sharing the screen with the Power Star again. It's a fun film and I have a very important role, and I'm looking forward to shooting with Pawan,' shares the actor.
A remake of Kollywood Superstar
Ajith's 2013 blockbuster Veeram, which was dubbed into Telugu as Veerudokkade, the film is based on the story of five brothers. Talking about his role, he reluctantly reveals, 'I play Pawan's younger brother in the movie. It's a well etched out character and I shot for a couple of scenes for the film recently. Manasa plays my love interest.'
