Kalyan Ram’s new look from Bimbisara is out

’s 43rd birthday, another poster from his upcoming film Bimbisara was released and the actor looks intense in it.

In the film Kalyan plays Bimbisara, a demon king from Magadha kingdom and the film is touted to be a drama based on mythology. Debutant director Mallidi Vashist wished the actor on his birthday and wrote, “Wishing my #Bimbisara @NandamuriKalyan Garu a Very Happy Birthday. (sic)” Catherine Tresa plays the female lead in the film that is mounted on a high budget.

The film’s team is currently shooting for this period entertainer and the first-look of it looked promising too. Huge sets were erected for the same and the film’s team will wrap up shooting by the end of the year. Bimbisara will also have a moral message backing it up as the tagline of the film reads ‘a time travel from evil to good.’

Producer K Hari Krishna is bankrolling the project under Kalyan Ram’s NTR Arts banner.

Chota K Naidu

is cranking the camera for the film with music by Chirantan Bhatt. Kalyan Ram was last seen in

Entha Manchivaadavuraa

which hit screens last year and saw Mehreen Pirzada as the female lead. His 20th project is with director

KV Guhan

and bankrolled by Dil Raju. Further details are awaited
