For the past few years, rumours are rife that all is not well between
Balakrishna
and
Junior NTR. Reports of the strained relationship between the
Nandamuri
uncle-nephew duo went all over the place. Adding fuel to fire, both the star heroes haven’t been clicked in a single frame in recent times. However, Balayya Babu was seen alongside
Tarak
during the last rites of
Harikrishna who passed away in a tragic road accident.
During the latest promotional interview for
NTR biopic
, Nandamuri
Kalyan Ram
who reprised the role of his father cleared the air about the floating rumours. The 40-year-old actor clarified that everything is fine between his younger brother and uncle by stating “Balayya Babai showed his love towards Tarak by making him launch
NTR Kathanayakudu’s audio album”.
Replying to the absence of Tarak in the film, Kalyan Ram said “Tarak is a big star. Babai didn’t want to do injustice by offering him a short, irrelevant role in the film. That would have disappointed Nandamuri fans too”. He also revealed that there is no Balakrishna’s role in the two-part film. While
Kathanayakudu
is scheduled to hit the screens on January 9 as a
Sankranthi
treat, the sequel version Mahanayakudu will release on February 7.
