After failing to hit the bull’s eye with his debut film ‘Vijetha’,
Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev took his time and signed ‘Super Machi’ as his second project. Touted to be a wholesome entertainer, the Puli Vasu directorial was the first Telugu film to resume shooting post lockdown. Starring Kannada beauty
Rachita Ram as the leading lady, ‘Super Machi’ features an ensemble star cast like Ajay, Rajendra Prasad, Naresh, Posani Krishna Murali and Pragathi on board.
The SS Thaman musical is bankrolled by Rizwan Entertainments banner and the shooting has been wrapped up.
On Thursday, the pooja ceremony of Kalyaan Dhev’s next project took place in Hyderabad and young directors Venky Kudumula and Venu Udugula graced the ceremony as guests. The Mega hero will be joining hands with ‘Aswathama’ director Ramana Teja for this untitled film written by Deshraj. While Saagar Mahati has been roped in to compose the music, Ram Talluri is bankrolling the project under SRT Entertainment.
Besides this film, Kalyaan has a romantic drama directed by debutant Sreedhar Seepana in the pipeline. The untitled film stars
Avika Gor as the leading lady and the protagonist has pulled off a leaner look for his role.
Son of renowned businessman Captain Kishan who is a top jeweller based in the United States, Kalyaan Dhev tied the knot with Chiranjeevi’s younger daughter Sreeja Konidela in a lavish wedding ceremony at Bangalore. The couple was blessed with a baby girl in 2019.
