Kajal Aggarwal and Gautam Kitchlu's wedding ceremony included a Jeelakarra Bellam ceremony
Newly-weds Kajal Aggarwal and Gautam Kitchlu’s wedding pictures are finally here and boy are they beautiful!

Ever since the actress announced earlier in October that she will tie the knot by month end, fans were waiting for the day. So after making do with leaked pictures and videos on October 30 and even for most of October 31, Kajal surprised fans by sharing beautiful pictures from the intimate ceremony late on Saturday.

Kajal shared three beautiful pictures, one which sees her sitting on the stairs, showing off her lehenga, while Gautam stands behind her. In another, she can be seen kissing his hand with love. What left fans surprised was the third picture which sees them performing the Jeelakarra Bellam ceremony.
While many know that Kajal and Gautam had Punjabi and Kashmiri ceremonies at the wedding to keep in touch with their roots, it was a surprise for fans to see them performing the traditional Telugu ceremony. Sharing how both of them wanted the Telugu touch because of their close association with South India, Kajal wrote, “In our Punjabi meets Kashmiri wedding, we just had to include #Jeelakarrabellam జీలకర్రాబెల్లం - a tribute to both Gautam and my individual relationships with South India! In a Telugu wedding, Jeelakarra Bellam signifies the union/marriage of the bride and the groom.” (sic) Fans of Kajal’s Telugu films were shocked that she chose to pay tribute in such a touching manner.

Kajal also seemed on cloud-nine to have finally found her dream man. She also wrote, “And just like that, from ms to mrs! I married my confidante, companion, best friend and soulmate. So glad I found all of this and my home in you @kitchlug #kajgautkitched.” (sic) Apart from that, Kajal revealed the challenges that came with having a wedding during the pandemic. Adding that they got married in a bio-bubble, she wrote, “We strictly followed covid protocols which meant we had to have a very small wedding, got all our guests tested and created a bubble for everyone who was a part of our celebration. We are very grateful for all our loved ones that were able to attend and those who joined virtually from afar were terribly missed and we hope to see you all soon.” (sic)

Kajal and Gautam’s wedding saw only 50 guests, consisting only of their close friends and family. With the oh-so-in-love couple now wedded, fans can’t stop gushing over all the beautiful pictures of the wedding being shared. Kajal opted for a beautiful red lehenga with blue and gold detailing all over it and a onion pink dupatta while Gautam opted for a ivory coloured sherwani paired with a pink chunni and gold turban. Wishes have been pouring in for the couple not just from fans but also celebs like Dulquer Salmaan, Niharika Konidela and more.
