Kaala Bhairava, the singer of the popular song "Naatu Naatu", performed live at the 2023 Oscars and brought pride to the entire nation. Along with Rahul Sipligunj, he delivered a stunning rendition of the song from the blockbuster film RRR. In the days following his performance, he took to Twitter to express his gratitude to his family members, acknowledging them for their support and contribution towards his success. He attributed his achievement to SS Rajamouli, his father MM Keeravaani, choreographer Prem Rakshith, SS Karthikeya, as well as his mother and aunt, who all played a significant role in his journey.
The live performance of "Naatu Naatu" by Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj was so impressive that it set the stage ablaze. Their show at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles earned them a standing ovation from the audience.
Kaala Bhairava expressed his gratitude for performing on the biggest stage via his Twitter page on March 16th.
He wrote, "Something I wanted to share with you all (sic)."
He wrote in his note, "I feel extremely grateful for having had the invaluable opportunity of representing team RRR and performing at the Oscars for the best original song category. On that note, I want to share with you that it's only because of a few people who, directly or indirectly, but 'completely' are the reason for me getting this priceless opportunity, which I personally feel is far beyond how much I actually deserve!"
He wrote, mentioning SS Rajamouli, his father MM Keeravaani, choreographer Prem Rakshith, his brother SS Karthikeya, as well as his mother and aunt. "It's because of their hard work and workmanship that the song has reached all parts of the world and is making people dance globally and that's how I got this chance."
In his concluding statement, he stated that, "I can and never will forget the fact that I wouldn't have had a chance to have this beautiful experience if not for them. I'm just lucky for being given a share of credit in this because in reality, the merit is 100 per cent theirs."
Bhairava expressed his gratitude for being a part of team 'RRR', stating that he feels blessed even to contribute in the smallest way.
'Naatu Naatu', a lively dance track from the film 'RRR directed by SS Rajamouli, showcases the two protagonists, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, in a celebratory mood. The song's upbeat music was composed by MM Keeravaani and performed by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, with lyrics penned by Chandrabose. The dance sequence is choreographed by Prem Rakshith. The song achieved worldwide recognition and earned prestigious accolades including the Best Original Song award at the 2023 Golden Globe and Oscars ceremonies.
