The first half of the film isn't engaging and has a mooted narrative. Two songs and almost an hour into the movie, 'Juliet Lover of Idiot' pokes fun at the

LGBTQ

community and justifies stalking. There are few scenes however that are engaging with two twists coming one after another right before the interval.

The audience may find the story and its lead pair difficult to connect to. Laden with scenes that are supposed to elevate the hero and elicit laughs, the film has failed at doing both so far. It remains to be seen how the second half will fare and if the twists before the interval will have any pay-off.
