I've grown up reading about Rudramadevi: Gunasekhar

Director Gunasekhar is buoyed by the response the two minute trailer of Rudhramadevi has generated. 'I grew up studying about Rudhrma Devi and I wanted to capture the trials and tribulations of the iconic Kakatiya warrior queen in the movie. Working on the film has been a mamoth task. I'm enthused with the
public response to the trailer,' adds Gunasekhar.
'Working for a period drama set in 13th century is never easy.A lot of study went into the wardrobe, jewellery, make up, the crown, the design of the sword etc., to get Anushka to look like Rudhramadevi,' adds Gunasekhar.
The film features an ensemble including Rana Daggubati and Allu Arjun.
