Monish Pathipati
, the grandson of producer
Pokuri Baburao
, who has produced several social films under the banner of Eetaram Films, and nephew of director Bhimineni Srinivasa Rao, is foraying into the Telugu film industry as a producer. He has set up his own production banner named MP Arts and is bankrolling a film titled ''Katha Kanchiki Manam Intiki'' as a first attempt. The film has been wrapped up the shoot and is gearing up for a release soon.
Producer Monish Pathipati said, ''I have had a special interest in cinema since I was a child. I grew up watching movies made by our grandfather Pokuri Baburao and our elder brother Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao. I used to go to film shootings with my uncle. That's when I started dreaming of making a movie. But, I wanted to come to a position to do a film, and after completing my studies, I started my own software company. While listening to some stories I wanted to make a movie, choreographer
Chanakya
told me this story. Impressed by the story he told, I set up the MP Arts banner and produced a movie called ''Katha Kanchiki Manam Intiki''. That’s how choreographer Chanakya became the director. My uncle and grandfather didn’t know that I was making a film. I told them after completing the shoot. They are very happy.''
Tipped to be a

The complete details about the film will be out on the occasion of Ugadi. Prawin Pudi has been roped in to handle the edits for the film, while YS Krishna is on board as the cinematographer for ''Katha Kanchiki Manam Intiki''.
