Tollywood drug scandal: It's 'Pelli Choopulu' actor Nandu's turn today on the hot seat

continues and it is actor Nandu aka Ananda Krishna who has appeared before the SIT today.

The actor who has acted in films like ‘100% Love’, ‘

Pelli Choopulu

’, and more is one of the 12 summoned by the Telangana excise department for questioning. Before Nandu, several Tollywood personalities have appeared before the SIT.


All the 12 Tollywood celebs connected to the drug racket were served notices under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Several pubs and bars in Hyderabad have also been issued notices for the same.

Yesterday, Tanish Alladi was questioned for four hours and before him, ace filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, cinematographer Shyam K Naidu, actors Subba Raju, Tarun, Navdeep, Ravi Teja and Tanish Alladi, actresses Charmi Kaur and Mumaith Khan, art director Dharma Rao aka Chinna, and Srinivasa Rao, Ravi Teja’s ex driver were questioned by the SIT.

The proceedings with all the personalities have been videographed and some have even given their hair, nail and body fluid samples with consent, while others refused.
