''Jersey'' completed two years. In celebration of this, Gowtam Tinnanuri, director of Jersey took to social media to reminisce about the film.

Sharing the film’s poster, he wrote, ''It’s been two years for Arjun’s story. It all started this day. Thank you for all the love for Jersey.

The makers of Jersey also get nostalgic about the film. They wrote, ''He was beaten by life, bruised & battered but he refused to give up. He chose to chase his DREAM. IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO DREAM!''

Jersey starred Nani, Shraddha Srinath, Harish Kalyan, Viswant Duddumpudi, Sanusha, Sathyaraj, Sampath Raj, Praveen, Jayaprakash, Rao Ramesh and Brahmaji. The film followed the story of a talented but, failed cricketer Arjun, who decides to return to cricket in his late thirties, driven by the desire to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfil his son's wish for a jersey as a gift. The sports drama was directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under his home banner Sithara Entertainments.

It has music by noted Kollywood musician Anirudh Ravichander, while Navin Nooli was on board as the editor. Sanu Varghese handled the cinematography for the venture. The film not only loved by the audience but also won the hearts of the jury. It won two National Film Awards, Best Feature Film in Telugu and Best Editing. Fans are trending #2YearsForClassicJersey on Twitter recalling the run of the film and all the memories associated with it.
