Isha Chawla, who made her debut with Prema Kavali and went on to make a buzz with Poola Rangaudu opposite Sunil, will star opposite Balakrishna in Srimannarayana. The actor is now busy honing her Telugu skills on the sets of the movie.
I speak in Telugu at every given opportunity while shooting and even after my schedule. Most of my staff are Telugu-speaking and I can hold conversations with them now, says the Punjabi girl.
Isha reveals that on her recent visit to the Golden Temple, she ended up using a few Telugu words. Since Ive been religiously speaking in Telugu with everybody here in Hyderabad, when I visited Punjab, a few Telugu words popped out of my mouth. Everyone was wondering what language I was speaking and I had to switch back to Punjabi, quips Isha, who is excited about working with Balakrishna.
Balakrishna sir is always helpful towards co-artistes and is jovial on the sets, contrary to the belief that he is very serious. He always has a big smile on his face. We learn a lot from him and his experience in the industry, says Isha, who plays a bubbly half-sari sporting character in the movie.
