Is the ‘Liger’ (Hindi) version not releasing the same day as the Telugu version?

With the advent of lot of OTT platforms and digital filmmaking gadgets becoming cheaper with each passing day, many budding filmmakers are testing their luck with small to medium-ranged films at the theaters, from experimental cinema to that of commercial formulaic movies several films are releasing every week.

This week too 4 straight Telugu films are getting released besides a few other Hindi and English movies competing at the Tollywood box-office , have a look at the list of releases this week below.

Of all the films releasing this week, ‘Liger’ is one big film that is not just releasing in Telugu language but in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages as well. The sports action film is written and directed by Puri Jagannadh starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. American boxer Mike Tyson plays an extended cameo, making his acting debut in Indian cinema with this film. The film's songs are composed by Vikram Montrose, Tanishk Bagchi, Jaani and Lijo George while its background score is given by Sunil Kashyap.

‘Bhala Chora Bhala’ is a Telugu crime drama that stars Khayyum Ali, Naveen Neni, and Ram Jagan playing important roles, that revolve around Raj and his friends who get entangled in a mess involving criminal activities. The film is all about how these friends will get away from the above mess. The film is written and directed by A. Pradeep, while Simha Korrapati is composing its music while Venkatesh Addanki gives its background score.

'Kalapuram' is a comedy-drama film that stars Satyam Rajesh, Chitram Srinu, Kashima Rafi, and Sanchita Poonacha playing important roles, that was written and directed by Karuna Kumar and produced by Rajani Talluri. The film’s music was composed by Mani Sharma that releases on 26th August

Hashtag PK/ #PK is a romance drama film with newcomers that stars Ashu Reddy, Shrita Rao and Darbha Appaji in the lead roles. The film will be released on 26th August.

Holy cow is a drama film starring Sanjay Mishra and Tigmanshu Dhulia, Nawazudding Siddiqui and Sadiya Siddiqui playing the lead roles. The film is written and directed by Sai Kabir That will also release in Telugu Metro cities on the 26th of August.

Thai Massage is a drama film starring Gajraj Rao, Divyenndu Sharma and Rajpal Yadav in the lead roles. The film is written and directed by Mangesh Hadawale while it was produced jointly by Imtiaz Ali and Bhushan Kumar that will be released on 26th August.
