Sai Dharam Tej, the popular Telugu actor, is reportedly planning to take a much-needed break from work. Following in the footsteps of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who recently took a break from films, Sai Dharam Tej is set to go on a six-month hiatus. The decision comes as the actor wants to prioritize his physical well-being and deliver his best performances on screen.
During a recent media interaction while promoting his upcoming film 'Bro,' Sai Dharam Tej revealed his intention to take a break. He emphasized the importance of returning to work in top form, stating, "There shouldn't be any complaints from the audience. I want to give it my all for all my movies. I need to undergo a small surgery, and I will come back stronger. I will probably need around six months to recover completely."
The need for surgery arises from a bike accident that Sai Dharam Tej had in September 2021. While riding his sports bike, he unfortunately skidded and fell on the cable bridge in Hyderabad, resulting in injuries that required an extended period of hospitalization and bed rest. The accident caused soft tissue injuries and a collarbone fracture, which he has bravely overcome and returned to the silver screen. However, it seems that Sai Dharam Tej has decided to undergo surgery related to his previous injuries, taking the opportunity to fully recover during his break.
Despite his forthcoming hiatus, Sai Dharam Tej is currently immersed in the excitement surrounding his next film, 'Bro.' Set to release on July 26, the film features Sai Dharam Tej alongside his uncle, the renowned actor Pawan Kalyan. The expectations for the movie are sky-high, and the duo's on-screen chemistry is highly anticipated. The trailer for 'Bro: The Avatar' is scheduled to be unveiled on July 21, building further anticipation among fans.
'Bro' also stars Ketika Sharma and Priya Prakash Varrier as the female leads, with Rohini, Brahmanandam, and Subbaraju playing supporting roles. The screenplay and dialogues are provided by Trivikram Srinivas, while S Thaman has composed the music. The film is produced by T. G. Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory in collaboration with Zee Studios, with cinematography by Sujith Vasudev and editing by Naveen Nooli. As of now, 'Bro' is set for release on July 28, 2023.
