Allu Arjun is currently working on the highly anticipated sci-fi film Raaka, directed by Atlee, with Bollywood star Deepika Padukone playing the female lead. As the film is currently being shot, reports have been circulating that the actor is considering moving to Mumbai on a temporary basis. Recently, his father, Allu Aravind, addressed these rumours.
Allu Aravind clears the air
Allu Aravind dismissed the rumours and clarified that there are no such plans for the ‘Pushpa’ star. He acknowledged that since the film is being shot in Mumbai, it may have led to speculation.
He told Deccan Chronicle, “No. Since his current film is being shot in Mumbai, it may appear that way. But Hyderabad is where Allu’s heart and home are. His children study there, and all his loved ones are based in Hyderabad. Why would he move to Mumbai?”
Hyderabad remains his base
In the coming months, Allu Arjun will continue to travel between Hyderabad and Mumbai depending on the shoot schedule. However, Hyderabad remains his primary base, where his family, children, and close ones live.
There are also no plans for him to relocate to Mumbai to expand his presence in other film industries. While he may continue to work in multiple languages with films like Pushpa and Raaka, his base will remain unchanged, the report further stated.
Personal milestones for the team
Meanwhile, Atlee recently shared that he and his wife, Priya Atlee, have welcomed a baby girl. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone and actor Ranveer Singh announced their second pregnancy with a heartwarming post.
