Telugu Star Ravi Teja will next be seen in the upcoming film, ‘Irumudi,’ directed by Shiva Nirvana. As the film is currently in the making, latest buzz suggests the project is likely to hit the big screens in August 2026.

According to a report by Gulte, ‘Irumudi’ may be released in theaters in August 2026. However, the makers have not officially confirmed the release date yet.

Plot of the film

Speaking about the film, the makers have already revealed the first poster, where Ravi Teja was seen wearing traditional Ayyappa Swami attire during a colorful procession filled with devotees. The poster gave the feeling that the movie will focus more on emotions, belief, and spirituality rather than regular commercial elements. The actor appeared in a completely different style compared to his previous films.

This will mark a fresh and emotional role for the actor after several mass entertainers. Interestingly, the film is also reported to revolve around the emotional bond between a father and daughter. The movie is said to explore themes like faith, transformation, and family relationships.

Cast of ‘Irumudi’

Ravi Teja will be seen playing a different role in this film. Talking about the other cast members of the film, actress Priya Bhavani Shankar will play Ravi Teja’s wife in the film. Child actor Baby Nakshathra plays their daughter.


The supporting cast includes Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira, Swasika, Meesala Lakshman, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Ramana Bhargav, Kishore Kancherapalem, and Karthik Adusumalli.

The music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

Earlier, there were reports saying Tamannaah Bhatia could play an important role in the movie. But the team has not shared any official update regarding her involvement so far.
