King Akkineni Nagarjuna decided to celebrate his 63rd birthday with his family members, a glimpse from which Amala Akkineni shared on her Instagram profile on Monday.

The former actor posted a picture with his hubby Nagarjuna and son Akhil Akkineni. She wrote in his caption: ''A special day ends with a special moment - Happy birthday to my darling husband. Thank you everyone for your good wishes and blessings on our special day.@akkineniakhil.''

Nagarjuna took to Twitter and shared a video to express gratitude and thanked fans, everyone, for their warm birthday wishes on his 63rd birthday, August 29. In the video, he said, ''Since morning, I have been receiving a lot of phone calls and messages. Thank you for all the wishes, and thanks for your blessings. For me, there are three amazing events this September and October. One is Bigg Boss, the second one is Brahmastra, and the third one is The Ghost. I promise you I’m going to entertain you. And also want to thank you for the amazing response to The Ghost trailer. Let me once again thank you for your unconditional love.''

On the occasion of Nagarjuna’s birthday, the brand new poster of his upcoming movie with director Praveen Sattaru was released by the makers. Titled 'The Ghost', Sonal Chauhan is the female lead in the movie. Narayan Das K Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Sharrath are bankrolling the project under the banners of Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment. The technical crew of the movie comprises Bharatt Saurabh as the music composer, Mukesh G as the cinematographer and Dharmendra Kakarala as the editor. Gul Panag, Anikha Surendran, Vaishnavi Ganatra, Manish Chaudhari, Ravi Varma, Keith Dallison, Simmi Ghoshal, Srikanth Iyengar and Tofan Pirani are also part of the project.

Nagarjuna's first Hindi film was 'Shiva'. The movie directed by Ram Gopal Varma in Telugu has been remade in Hindi with almost the same artists with the same title. Amala can be seen romancing Naga in this romantic action-entertainer which was a huge success in B-town.

After that, Nagarjuna played as the second hero in the Hindi film 'Khuda Gawah' co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi. Namrata Shirodkar’s sister Shilpa Shirodkar was seen in a crucial role in the Mukul S Anand directorial film. It went on to become a commercial success at the box office, becoming the third highest grossing Indian film of the year.

The film directed by Ram Gopal Varma as a bilingual movie which was titled 'Antham' in Telugu and 'Drohi' in Hindi. Along with this movie, the songs and BGM composed by RD Burman Mani Sharma and M.M. Keeravani were also a big hit among audience.
