IN PICS: Nithiin and Shalini Kandukuri’s Mehendi Function

Nithiin and Shalini Kandukuri are all set to get hitched on July 26 at the prestigious Falaknuma Palace hotel in Hyderabad. The soon-to-be-couple has kick-started their pre-wedding festivities with an engagement ceremony on Wednesday and it was followed by a Mehendi function on Thursday. While Nithiin has already shared pics from his ring-exchanging event with Shalini, the actor’s friend and popular fashion designer Neeraj Kona shared a couple of stills from the Mehendi event.
While Nithiin slipped into a blue Kurta for the pre-wedding occasion, Shalini looked drop-dead gorgeous in a red lehenga with a diamond neckpiece. Sharing the photos, Neeraj Kona wrote “Sucker for ❤️ Ms.Pellikoothuru 🤗🤗🤗🤗 @shalinikandukuri #NiSh”

Due to lockdown guidelines issued by the government, the marriage is going to be a close-knit affair with only family members and a few friends in attendance. Recently, Nithiin has met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and handed over his wedding invitation. Actor-cum-politician Pawan Kalyan is likely to attend the marriage of his ardent admirer along with Varun Tej and Trivikram Srinivas.

Initially, families from both sides have made plans for a destination wedding in Dubai. But, due to the rapid spread of coronavirus, they have decided to go for a private event with limited attendees. On February 15, Nithiin and Shalini started off their wedding formalities with a traditional roka ceremony.
