I’m very proud of my daughter: Puri Jagan

The recent past has not been easy for Tollywood director Puri Jagannath thanks to the infamous drugs controversy and Puri being summoned by the Enforcement Directorate. But he seems to have put the unpleasant past behind him and is now eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Shriya Saran and Kyra Dutt in the lead. Speaking during a promotional event of the film, Puri regarding his personal life said, “I am extremely proud of my daughter Pavitra.I’m delighted at the fact that I have a fighter at home who is not afraid to speak her mind.” For the record, Pavitra was extremely annoyed and lashed out at the media regarding the coverage of her father by the media in the drugs issue. A college-going girl, Pavitra has assisted her dad on various films and Puri has hinted that she might turn a producer in the near future.
