I'm delighted to work with Poonam Pandey: Samrat

Popular character artiste, Samrat is playing the lead role in his next film Malini & Co. The young actor is paired opposite Poonam Pandey in the action thriller directed by Veeru K. Sharing details about his role, he says, 'The film is set in the backdrop of international terror plot and touches on some pressing global issues. I play a Chemical Engineer in the movie.'
Prod the actor on how was it working with Poonam he says, 'Initially I was in for a surprise when I was told that I would share screen space with Poonam.But working with her has been really great and I'm delighted to work with her. The story doesn't really have a romantic angle but our on-screen chemistry in the songs will be something to watch out for.'
Samrat is also working on an untitled Tamil project to be directed by a debutant. 'I play a college goer in the film and the pre-production work is currently on,' he signs off.
