If only voting for electing the government was given as much importance as Bigg Boss voting, laments Nandu

As the voter turnout percentage saw a new low in the early hours of polling in Hyderabad in the GHMC elections, actor Nandu took the satirical route to comment on it. The Savari actor went ahead and said that the Big Boss voting is much more discussed among city folk and given more importance than actual voting for electing the government. However, Nandu showed off his inked finger after casting his vote in GHMC elections today urging others to do the same.

Nandu took to social media and wrote, “Apparently 10 per cent voters turned up to vote today. BIGBOSS votes ki unnantha discussion, importance and dedication mana election votes ki kuda untey matter verey laa undedhi” (sic). (It would have been a whole different scenario if polling was taken as seriously as Big Boss voting). The comparative post of the actor soon went viral and people actually started discussing the reasons for lower voter turnout in the comments section.
