Sumanth Akkineni has joined hands with the director
Anil Srikantam for a suspense thriller titled ‘
Idam Jagath
’. Jonnalagadda Padmavate and
Gangapatnam Sridhar
are producing the film under the banner of
Viraat Films
in association with Sri Vignesh Karthik Cinemas.
The first look poster of the film has been released on social media today and the film looks like a murder mystery. In the first look poster, Sumanth can be seen investigating a dead body that lies down on the road with his camera with the ‘do not cross ribbons’ surrounding him. Sumanth reportedly plays an investigative journalist in the suspense thriller.
The shooting of ‘Idam Jagath’ has been wrapped up and the post-production works are being carried out at brisk phase. The makers are very happy with the output so far. There is no official word on the rest of the cast yet. Apart from this film, Sumanth will also be seen in the Santosh Jagarlapudi directorial ‘Subramaniapuram’, which was officially launched last month, also stars Eesha Rebba as the leading lady.
