The new year is here and actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is on the verge of taking a new step in his career. After winning hearts in Telugu cinema since 2014, Sreenivas is looking forward to doing the same in Bollywood. The actor, who celebrates his birthday today in the snowy locales of Kashmir, is being launched in Hindi films by Dr Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, and will be seen headlining the remake of Prabhas-starrer Chatrapathi.
“Ever since I watched
Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai as a child, it’s been my dream to act in a Bollywood film. I’m so glad it’s finally happening,” he says, excitedly.
And while Sreenivas is thrilled to be making his Bollywood debut, the actor is equally excited about his upcoming Telugu film Alludu Adhurs, which is releasing on January 15. “It’s a wholesome family entertainer and has a wonderful story. Working with the likes of Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood, Anu Emmanuel and Nabha Natesh has been truly memorable,” he says.
Sreenivas is excited to see what 2021 has in store for him. “In 2020 I’ve done everything I never got the opportunity to do — learn how to play the guitar, do organic farming, catch up on books and cinema and more importantly, understand my priorities. I have realised that happiness does not lie in material gains. So this year, I hope to be better at everything I do, up my game in every aspect and be the best version of myself,” he says, signing off.
