I don't want to be that li'l girl from Drushyam anymore: Kruthika

. But the actress, who has been around for two years in T'town, says she is ready to shed the association with that character. 'I know I have been very fortunate to have worked with Venkatesh. I loved playing his daughter. But people still remember me for that role. I don't want to be that little girl anymore,' says the actress, who is now working with Allari Naresh for an upcoming horror comedy

Kruthika plays a yoga teacher in the film. And she didn't find the role hard to carry off. She reveals, 'My mom was a yoga teacher and I have always been practising it with her. With time, however, I just became a wee bit irregular. But still, prepping up for the role didn't require a lot of effort,' she shares.
Does she have any favourite yoga pose? 'I like the

Sirsasana

, I mastered it only recently. But it's not featuring in the film.' The actress also says that a project with director Nageswar Reddy was long over due. 'We had earlier discussed a possible collaboration, but that didn't work out. That's why, I am happy I finally got a chance to act in this film with it. It's a new genre for me and I am kicked about it,' she says, adding, 'Working with Naresh garu is an experience I will always remember. Of the few people I have met from the industry so far, he is the most passionate one. He literally walks, talks and eats cinema. It's really inspiring.'
Kruthika another reason to hop on board this project. She says cannot relate to it at all and that makes the role more challenging. 'Challenges excite me and what can be a bigger one than playing a character you do not relate to? I think I am doing a good job,' she says.
