I dated Taapsee for 2 years: Mahat

Tollywood stars prefer keeping their relationships under wraps as they are of the opinion that revealing such personal things would affect their careers. Taapsee too tried the same strategy but couldn't succeed much.
In one of his recent interviews while promoting his first Telugu flick 'Back Bench Student', Hero Mahat (Taapsee ex-boyfriend) admitted both he and Taapsee have dated for 2 years and broke up later realising it's not working anymore.
Mahat seems to have no problems with being known in Tollywood as Taapsee's ex-boyfriend. "I'm more known in Andhra as Tapsee's ex-boyfriend and Taapsee is more known in Tamilnadu as Mahat's ex-girlfriend," confirms the actor, neglecting the fact that Taapsee has earned a name for herself and became more popular with the National award winning flick 'Adukalam' opposite Dhanush.
