“I am trying to be at home as much as possible,” says Lavanya Tripathi on Coronavirus scare
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a global health emergency over a new coronavirus that has killed more than 5,000 people worldwide following an outbreak in the central Chinese city of Wuhan. While most of the infected cases are from mainland China, the epidemic has travelled to 58 countries which include India. On Monday, the health ministry confirmed 110 positive cases of coronavirus in India including the foreign nationals.
In the wake of these unfortunate happenings, film industries across the world are in a state of limbo on the release dates. While most shootings in Telugu cinema have been postponed, popular tinsel town divas like Lavanya Tripathi are urging the people to take all the precautionary measures and stay safe from the epidemic.
In an exclusive conversation with E-Times, the ‘Andala Rakshasi’ actress stated that she is very proactive when it comes to countering health risks. “I am always carrying a sanitizer and three different kinds of face masks in my bag. I told my parents not to go out and I myself am trying to be at home as much as possible.”
Talking about natural remedies, she says “I am putting a piece of lemon in hot water and I am drinking that. I am maintaining a healthy lifestyle.”
She adds “When I heard about coronavirus in January, I was a bit sick due to food allergy. During that time, I was supposed to travel from Mumbai to Hyderabad and I immediately bought an N95 face mask for safety.”
After acquiring a much-needed superhit with Arjun Suravaram, Lavanya Tripathi is playing a tomboyish
