'Hi Nanna' OTT rights sold for Rs 37 crore

The most anticipated and expected film of actor Nani, 'Hi Nanna' is releasing in theatres today, December 7. The movie has been receiving a lot of attention because of the hype and is expected to make a good run in theatres because of its feel good plot. Directed by debutant Shouryuv, the movie is a family emotional drama that focuses on bonding, relationships and romance. The cast of the film includes Nani, Mrunal Thakur, Baby Kiara and Shruti Haasan.
As the film is just a day away from its release, the makers have sold its digital rights for a whopping amount of Rs 37 crore. Reportedly, the digital rights has been sold to Netflix and the film will premiere on the platform in the third week of January 2024 after Sankranti. 'Hi Nanna's story revolves around a father named Virahj, played by Nani who takes care of his daughter Mahi. The girl pesters her father to know the story about her mother and a secret is unveiled and soon the life of the father and daughter is changed as they meet Yashna, played by Mrunal Thakur. As both the father and daughter like Yashna, a new romantic relationship develops.

'Hi Nanna' director has revealed that the movie will be a film that will make people talk about it even after they go home after watching the film as it deeply touches the emotions of a family. The film's music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab and the rest of the film's cast includes Jayaram, Priyadarshini Pulikonda, Angad Bedi, Viraj Ashwin, Baby Kiara Khanna.
