Hero will be a Sankranti treat for the audience: Sriram Adittya

Lots of youngsters dream of becoming movie stars in our film crazy country. In his film Hero, director Sriram Adittya seeks to explore the fascination for the big screen that attracts scores of youth to the world of showbiz. “My lead character Arjun’s journey will resonate with the audience as I believe every one of us has at some point of our lives, wondered what it would be like to see ourselves on the big screen.Hero will tell the story of a boy-next-door who works towards achieving his dream of making it big in films,” says Sriram.
The director says the film’s USP is its humour, which is both clever and relatable. “The word ‘hero’ is used in our everyday lives on a regular basis. How often have we heard people say ‘hero la unnav’ or ‘eraa, hero anukuntunnava?’ on an everyday basis. In the film, such scenarios will be presented in a humourous way. It will be a film that everybody can relate to,” explains Sriram. While Ashok plays the titular ‘hero’, Nidhhi plays a veterinarian doctor called Subhadra. “The love story between Arjun and Subhadra will tug at your heart-strings. The film also has fine actors like Jagapathi Babu, Naresh, Archana Soundarya, Vennela Kishore, Satya, among others, who will keep you entertained throughout,” the director shares.
The filmmaker feels Hero will serve as a breather to the audience after the pain caused by COVID-19 in recent times. “It’s a fresh, relatable story that will make you laugh your heart out. It’s the perfect film to watch with your family this Sankranti. I’m excited for the audience to love the film as much as we do,” says Sriram, signing off.
