While the actor has since then clarified whom his comments were not directed at, the buzz seems to not die down anytime soon. However, amongst those who liked the film is director Sukumar, who posted a video online about catching the film’s screening. In the video, he says, “I watched Falaknuma Das and it was a very good experience. No one has shown Hyderabad before the way it has been in the film. The city has its own rich

and to see a new director showcase it so well with new artistes is astounding.”

‘Falaknuma Das’, the remake of the Malayalam film ‘Angamaly Diaries’ released last Friday and received mixed reviews. Apart from Vishwak Sen, the film also stars Uttej, Tharun Bhascker, Saloni Mishra, Harshita Gaur and Prashanthi Charuolingah in key roles.
