Filmmaker SS Rajamouli revealed that he was inspired by the 1957 classic Telugu movie 'Mayabazar' and Mel Gibson's 1995 Hollywood movie 'Braveheart' for his magnum opus 'RRR'. He said that 'Mayabazar', which was a fantasy, is a big inspiration for 'RRR', and the idea of two brothers fighting for a common cause inspired him from 'Braveheart'. He also said that he was inspired by the characters of 'Mayabazar' and the way they were presented.

He said that he has taken some inspiration from the iconic scenes in 'Mayabazar' and has tried to use those scenes in 'RRR', albeit in a much different way. He also said that he has added his own touches and twists to the plot of the movie and has tried to make it unique. Till 'Mayabazar', Telugu films used to have dialogues in bookish language. In English, they were like the words in William Shakespeare’s plays. But, the modern Telugu language was used in 'Mayabazar'. He says that it really takes guts to do that and take a bow to the director.

He also revealed that the song "Komaram Bheemudo" from the film 'RRR' was inspired by the classic Hollywood movie 'Braveheart'. He said that the song was inspired by the scene from the movie where William Wallace rallies the troops and gives a rousing speech to them. According to Rajamouli, the song was his attempt to recreate that moment in the 'RRR' movie.

'Mayabazar' is a 1957 Telugu epic fantasy film directed by Kadiri Venkata Reddy. It is based on the folk tale Sasirekha Parinayam, which in turn is based on the epic Mahabharata. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, Savitri, S. V. Ranga Rao, and G. Varalakshmi in the lead roles.

The film tells the story of a young man, Abhimanyu (N. T. Rama Rao), who is in love with a princess, Sasirekha (Savitri). Abhimanyu must prove his worth by defeating seven powerful warriors in order to win the princess's hand in marriage. The film was a huge success at the box office and is considered a classic of Indian cinema. It is remembered for its music, cinematography, and elaborate sets.

'Braveheart' is a 1995 epic war film directed by and starring Mel Gibson. The film focuses on the 13th-century Scottish warrior William Wallace, who leads a Scottish rebellion against the English occupation of Scotland. The story is based on Blind Harry’s epic poem The Actes and Deidis of the Illustre and Vallyeant Campioun Schir William Wallace.

The film was a major box office success, grossing over $75 million in the United States and over $210 million worldwide. It was nominated for ten Academy Awards and won five, including Best Picture and Best Director for Gibson. The film also won two BAFTAs, one for Best Cinematography and the other for Best Makeup.

'RRR' stars Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris and Samuthirakani in the lead roles. The film is a fictional story revolving around two legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Sitharamaraju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad, respectively. The story follows the two characters, who are divided by fate, as they fight for their respective causes.

I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you.. THIS TOO SHALL PASS.’’
