'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' release: Rumoured runtime of Pawan Kalyan starrer surfaces online ahead of release

Pawan Kalyan's much-anticipated period action drama 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit' is all set to hit the big screens on July 24, 2025. New details about the film are beginning to surface online, including its possible runtime.

Directed by Jyothi Krisna, the film has been in the making for a long time and is finally entering its final stretch before release. The advance bookings for the film are already open in select locations in the USA. According to some US-based ticketing websites, the film reportedly clocks in at 2 hours and 40 minutes. There has been no official word yet from the production team confirming the runtime, but the online listings have led to speculations.


Starring Pawan Kalyan in the role of Veera Mallu, a Robin Hood-style outlaw set during the Mughal era, the film will have action, history, and cinematic grandeur. Nidhhi Agerwal stars opposite Kalyan in the lead role, while Bobby Deol takes on the role of the antagonist, playing the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The supporting cast includes veteran actors like Sathyaraj, Nassar, Vennela Kishore, and Pujita Ponnada, among others.

The film's music is composed by Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravaani, known for his work in 'RRR' and 'Baahubali'.

In other news, the movie has been facing controversy, just weeks before its scheduled release on July 24, 2025. Members of the Bahujan community, particularly the Mudiraj group from Telangana, have raised strong objections to the film's portrayal of its central character, Veera Mallu, played by Pawan Kalyan. They claim that the character closely resembles the revered 19th-century folk hero Panduga Sayanna, who fought against feudal oppression and supported the cause of the poor. The group has reportedly demanded that their concerns be addressed in time by the makers.
