Happy Birthday Sindhu Menon: Chandamama actress turns 34

Beautiful actress Sindhu Menon, who has won the hearts of millions with her remarkable performances on the silver screen, celebrates her 34th birthday today (June 17). The actress reigned supreme in various languages for decades, flooring audiences with great acting and dance performances in movie after movie.
Sindhu Menon was born to a Kannada family and can speak not only in her mother tongue Kannada but also in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English.
In April 2010, Sindhu Menon tied the known with a UK-based Telugu information technology professional, Dominic Prabhu and they had two children together, Svetlana and a son. She happily gave up the limelight to revel in her role as a wife and homemaker.
Sindhu Menon appeared in over 40 films in various languages throughout her fruitful career. The beautiful actress showed her talent in a variety of genres in multiple languages, including, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu.
Dance was Sindhu Menon’s childhood passion, and she became a professional Bharatanatyam dancer after starting training at the age of five. Bhasker Hegde, one of the judges of a Bharatanatyam competition in which Menon participated introduced her to Kannada film director KV Jayaram, who cast her in his film Rashmi in 1994. She played a child artist in the movie. She has also starred in Huliya and Maha Edabidangi as a child artist.
Sindhu Menon, who debuted with Bhadrachalam in the year 2001, became a household name with Chandamama, which was a super hit at the box office. She starred alongside Navdeep, Kajal Aggarwal and Siva Balaji in the film. She continued her golden run at the box office with movies like Uthaman, Samuthiram, Ee Nadu Innalevare, Srirama Chandrulu, Mr Brahmachari, Thommanum Makkalum, Pulijanmam, Pakal Nakshatrangal, Thavalam and to name a few.
