Akkineni Nagarjuna is one of the most talented actors in Tollywood who has been entertaining the audience for over three decades now. He is fondly called as Yuva Samrat by his fans and film buffs. He was born on August 29, 1959, in Chennai to the great late legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. ​Breakthrough film and his co-actors

The actor made his debut in the 1986 film Vikram. He, however, rose to fame with the 1987 film Majnu where he essayed the role of a racy youngster Rajesh. Soon the actor earned immense fame. Nag has worked in more than 100 films over a career spanning 30 years so far. The actor has worked with almost every actress in the industry. He has shared screen space with Rajani, Sridevi, Ramya Krishnan, Amala, Gautami, Nagma, Meena, Soundarya, Manisha Koirala, Amani, Tabu, Simran, Shilpa Shetty, Anushka Shetty and other leading actors of India cinema.

The actor has done some devotional films that instilled the emotion of devotion in every human being. His journey as a devotional hero started with his role in the 1997 film Annamayya. The film was based on the life of the 15th-century composer, Annamacharya and made a special place in his fans’ hearts. Talking about his personal life, he got married to Lakshmi Daggubati, the daughter of D Ramanaidu in 1984 while he was 25 years old. They both share a son Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, who is a popular Tollywood actor now. But after joining the film industry, he married actress Amala with whom he has a son, Akhil Akkineni. He is also an actor. The star kids have already captured the attention of the who's who of filmdom, fans and the media.
