Happy Birthday Akhil Akkineni: Makers of Agent share a new poster on the special day

Actor Akhil Akkineni turned a year older on April 8 and the filmmakers of his upcoming film, Agent, released a new poster.

Akhil’s stylish look for the film has amped up expectations for the action entertainer. Director Surender Reddy, who’s helming the project, took to social media to wish his lead actor, writing, “To the WILD ONE who is ready for his WILD HUNT. Wishing our @AkhilAkkineni8 an amazing birthday and a blockbuster year ahead. Keep shining. (sic)”

Akhil has been looking for a solid blockbuster at the box office and his fans hope the film will meet expectations. Surender has even promised to show a whole new side of Akhil as an action hero. The actor will play a spy in the crime thriller that has been penned by Vakkantham Vamsi. Debutant actress Sakshi Vaidya is playing the female lead in the film that will see music by Hiphop Tamizha. Agent is scheduled for release on August 12.

Akhil was last seen in Bommarillu Bhaskar’s Most Eligible Bachelor with Pooja Hegde as his co-star. The film received good response from fans and critics alike.
