Director Prasanth Varma and the team behind the film ‘Hanu-Man,’ featuring Teja Sajja, are actively promoting the movie with the release of its third single, ‘Avakaya Anjaneya.’ Following the launch of the second song, ‘Superhero Hanuman,’ on Children's Day, the team has unveiled this groovy folk number with massy beats.
The song, composed by Anudeeep Dev, kicks off with Amritha Aiyer and elderly women preparing avakaya pickle, only to be threatened by masked men. Enter Teja Sajja in a powerful Hanumanthu avatar, coming to the rescue. The song seamlessly integrates the tradition of making avakaya pickle with an action episode, creating a tune with some memorable moments.
Simhachalam Mannela wrote the lyrics, and Galidevara Sahiti provided the lively vocals. Teja Sajja delivers a dynamic performance, complementing the well-designed action sequences in the song.
While ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ was a devotional number and ‘Superhero Hanuman’ had a humorous tone, ‘Avakaya Anjaneya’ adds a folk flavor to the film's diverse soundtrack. The movie features Vinay Rai as the antagonist and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in a key role.
‘Hanu-Man’ is the first film within Prasanth Varma's Cinematic Universe, set in the imaginary place of ‘Anjanadri.’ With its universal concept, the film is poised for a Pan World release on January 12, 2024, in multiple Indian languages as well as English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese.
The cast includes Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Getup Srinu, Satya, Raj Deepak Shetty, and others. The cinematography is handled by Shivendra, with Srinagendhra Tangala as the production designer.
