chemotherapy
and is now gearing up for
surgery
.
She shared
pictures
from her hospital room, writing, “Annnnd.... am done with 16 cycles of chemotherapy!!! I am now officially a chemo
survivor
. But am not done yet, I haven't won yet. It's time to prepare for the next battle... It's time for the surgeries. #epirubicin #acchemo #paclitaxel #chemosurvivor #brca1 #breastcancer #swanstories. (sic)”
Hamsa Nandini, who was once active on social media, is off-grid now due to her diagnosis. She however does post once in a while, mostly to share about her progress with fans.
In late December 2021, the actress shared a picture of her with a shaved head and opened up on how four months before that she felt a lump in her breast. Her mother had passed away due to
breast cancer
and the actress is now battling the same. “I have made myself a few promises:- I will NOT let this disease Define My Life and that I will fight it with a Smile and Win. I will get back on screen Better & Stronger. I will tell my story so that I can help Educate & Inspire others. And, I will Consciously Celebrate Life & all it has to offer. (sic)” she had written, making it clear that she will not let the disease bring her down.
Fans who have been waiting for an update about her chemotherapy left the actress ‘get well soon’ messages, providing her support and ensuring her that she’ll bounce back soon.
