'Guntur Kaaram': Makers of the Mahesh Babu starrer to postpone pre-release event due to security reasons- Deets inside

Mahesh Babu starrer 'Guntur Kaaram' is all set to hit theaters on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Tollywood is facing a rush time with Nagarjuna’s ‘Naa Saami Ranga’, Venkatesh Daggubati’s ‘Saindhav,’ and more super exciting movies meeting face to face at the box office this festival season.

The Mahesh Babu and Sreeleela starrer is scheduled for its theatrical release on January 12. However, the makers have unfortunately postponed the pre-release event of ‘Guntur Kaaram.’

Recently, the makers of ‘Guntur Kaaram’ shared an official declaration on their Twitter account, mentioning that the pre-release event scheduled for January 6 is now postponed. The announcement reads, "Despite our best efforts, due to unforeseen circumstances and issues with security permissions, we will not be conducting the highly awaited Guntur Kaaram Pre-release event on 6th January 2024. We sincerely apologize for this announcement. The new date for the event with the venue will be announced at the earliest. Stay tuned."

The movie marks Mahesh Babu’s expected comeback after the 2022 movie ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ and is a celebration for his fans who missed him on-screen in 2023. The movie boasts an ensemble cast, including Ramya Krishna, Jagapathi Babu, Meenakshi Choudhary, and Brahmanandam.
The recently released song from the movie, ‘Kurchi Madathapetti,’ composed by Thaman S., has crossed 21 million views since the 6th day of its release on YouTube.
