Gopichand’s spy-thriller Chanakya seals its release date

After bagging a much-needed hit with Pantham in 2018, action hero

is currently busy with his upcoming espionage thriller Chanakya. Starring Mehreen Pirzada and Zareen Khan as the leading ladies, the shooting of the film has recently been wrapped up in Italy with a romantic number choreographed by Raju Sundaram. Along with the engaging posters, the riveting teaser of

Chanakya

has struck the right chord with the netizens. The 57-second clip is loaded with high-octane action and death-defying stunts in an Islamic place filled with terror camps.

Meanwhile, the makers have unveiled the

release date

of Chanakya and the

spy-thriller

is all set to hit worldwide screens on October 5. It’s really a bold step from the team as Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

will be hitting the theatres three days prior to the Gopichand starrer.

In the teaser, the 40-year-old handsome hunk is seen in two different attires; one like a regular employee in formal wear and the other one as a RAW agent in disguise. Written and directed by Tamil filmmaker Thiru, Chanakya is bankrolled by AK Entertainments with Vishal Chandrasekhar composing the music. Along with the lead cast, Bollywood actors like Rajesh Khattar and Upen Patel have essayed pivotal roles in the film.
