Gopichand Malineni heads to an old library to research for his next with Balakrishna

Director Gopichand Malineni recently scored a massive hit with Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan starrer Krack.
The director is now all geared up to research for his next film which will also be based on true incidents like his previous one. His next will be with Nandamuri Balakrishna, who’s currently shooting for Akhanda with Boyapati Srinu. He took to social media to reveal that he head to an old library in Vetapalem for the research.
Sharing pictures that see him looking through old newspaper clippings, he wrote, “Glad to visit..One of the oldest n big library in #vetapalem..Saraswata_Niketanam..felt like visiting a temple #knowledgeispower.” (sic) The library is touted to be a hundred years old and looks like Gopichand has something exciting planned for his next too. Mythri Movie Makers will be producing the film which will be announced officially soon.

Shooting for Akhanda is currently in progress and the film also stars Pragya Jaiswal and Srikanth in key roles. Music for the film that is slated for release on May 28 is by Thaman S and cinematography is by Ram Prasad. The film sees Balakrishna in a new avatar and the teaser which recently released received good response from the audience. It remains to be seen what Gopichand’s film with him will be all about.
