Gopichand injured while shooting for his upcoming film in Mysore

is shooting for his upcoming film in Mysore and had a minor mishap while shooting for a scene.

The actor was injured while shooting for an action sequence, state sources, and shooting has been halted for a brief while. A spokesperson for the film released a press note from director Sriwass that reads, “While shooting in Mysore, unfortunately, our hero @YoursGopichand just fell down due to leg slip. By God's grace nothing happened to him and he is doing completely fine. I request fans and friends not to worry about this incident. (sic)”

The yet to be titled film is

Gopicand

’s 30th project. This is the actor’s third film with director Sriwass after Loukyam and Lakshyam. Actor Kushboo Sundar has been roped in to play a ke role in the film. A female lead is yet to be announced. Gopichand will soon also be seen in

Pakka Commercial

, which is ready for release. Directed by Maruthi, the film will see Raashi Khanna as his co-star. The film is slated for release on July 1 this year.

Gopichand’s last two films

and Aaradugula Bullet received lukewarm response at the box office. It remains to be seen when the actor will be able to join shooting again.
