The trailer of 'God Father,' the Malayalam remake of Lucifer, has been released. Directed by Mohan Raja, the film has Chiranjeevi playing the lead role along with Salman Khan, Nayanthara, Puri Jagannadh and Satyadev in prominent roles.

The film is about a mysterious man named Brahma who steps in to ascend the throne when the leader of a political party passes away, amid the chaos. 'God Father' will see Chiranjeevi stepping into the shoes of Mohanlal. The trailer is getting a good response from the viewers, and it has already received nearly 6 million views on YouTube within less than 24 hours of its release.
The trailer was released at a grand event in Ananthapur, Andhra Pradesh on September 28. It has created a buzz, and now, Chiru’s fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film. As the pre-release promotion activities for the movie have already begun, the team so far has released two songs from the political drama. The track "Thaar Maar Thakkar Maar" has been crooned by Shreya Ghoshal. Anantha Sriram has penned the lyrics. The second track Najabhaja has been composed by S Thaman. The ferocious number was crooned by Sri Krishna and Prudhvi Chandra.
'God Father' has Nirav Shah as the cinematographer and S Thaman as the music director. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor. The film is backed by Konidela Production Company in association with Super Good Films. It is scheduled for theatre release on October 5.
