'Ghani' promotions in full swing: Varun Tej pins hope on his upcoming film

Varun Tej Konidela is all set to return to the big screen with 'Ghani,' directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati. He is now busy promoting the film, which is slated to hit the screens on April 8. The actor is beaming with confidence that his portrayal of Ghani, will earn him laurels.

There has been a lot of hype surrounding 'Ghani' ever since the trailer was released online. The team of the film has been going all out with promotions lately and with just a week away from release. Touted to be a sports action drama, the film has been bankrolled by Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby under the banners of Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company. Well-known producer and distributor Allu Aravind has acquired the theatrical rights of 'Ghani' and he is expected to release the film in a large number of cinema halls in Telugu states.

S Thaman has composed the music, which seems to have impressed the music enthusiasts. Saiee Manjrekar has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Varun in the film. Upendra, Suniel Shetty, Naveen Chandra, Nadhiya, Naresh, Tanikella Bharani and Tamannaah Bhatia have played significant roles in the film. George C Williams is the cinematographer with Marthand K Venkatesh doing the edits.
