George Reddy pre-release event cancelled

The pre-release event of George Reddy, which the makers planned to conduct on Sunday evening, was cancelled.
Reports state that the team was denied permission by the police department to conduct it at NTR gardens. Pawan Kalyan, who's supposedly making his return to films, was supposed to be the chief guest at the event. As his presence would cause a security issue, the department is said to have denied permission, even if there's no official word on the same.

The filmmakers recently even dedicated a song titled Vijayam to the actor-cum-politician. The George Reddy biopic is directed by Jeevan Reddy and stars Sandeep Madhav, Abhay Bethiganti and Satya Dev in lead roles. The film will chart the life of the student leader from Osmania University who was brutally murdered in his hostel room in 1972. The film will hit the screens on November 22 and has high expectations pinned on it.
