EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. #GangLeaderTrailer,” (sic) wrote Nani, sharing the trailer on his social media. The rest of the cast and crew too shared the video on their social media, much to the delight of fans.
The trailer reveals a little bit more of the story that the teaser offered a sneak peek of. It is now revealed that Pencil, played by Nani, is not just a ‘revenge writer’, he’s a fraud who lifts the plots for his books from famous Hollywood movies. But by helping out the women who approach him, he finally gets the chance to pen an original plot, starring himself. Kartikeya too is shown in the trailer, looking stylish as the antagonist.
‘Gang Leader’ is slated for release on September 13, and the film’s trailer will now be screened along with ‘Saaho’ from August 30. Apart from the lead trio, the film also stars
Lakshmi, Saranya, Aneesh Kuruvilla,
Priyadarshi, Raghubabu, Vennela Kishore, Jaija, Pranya and Sathya in key roles. 'Gang Leader' sees dialogues by Venkat D Pati, music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Mirosla Kuba Brojek and editing by Naveen Nooli. Further details of the film are awaited.
