'G2': Adivi Sesh talks about delay in Emraan Hashmi and Wamiqa Gabbi starrer; says, 'I've always worked at this pace'
Adivi Sesh fans are waiting for the updates on his spy action thriller sequel 'G2'. Recently, the actor spoke about the timeline of his upcoming movie. While there is a buzz that the film has been postponed from 2025 to 2026, the actor clarified that this isn't a delay but rather his natural creative pace, one that prioritises quality over speed.
While speaking with Hindustan Times, he shared that it is his process. He has always taken this long to make films and mentioned that it's only now that this is being noticed.
Speaking about the speculation about the film's production costs, Sesh made it clear that financial constraints don't drive his choices. "So far, the pressure has only been about quality, not money, because there's no unwanted spending. The producers know exactly where the money is going no surprises. For me, a film begins and ends with the producer. It's important that I keep my producer safe," he said.
On the work front, he will be next seen in 'Dacoit' sharing screen with Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap. The movie is set to release on March 19th, 2026.
Further speaking of 'Goodachari 2', the movie stars Emraan Hashmi and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles.
Always took time to make films

He shared that people thought that due to COVID, the film must have taken a longer time, but mentioned that it is the same as his other films.
